The record

Sawtooth trades cut-to-length and full-tree forestry machinery on the southern Oregon coast, largely to family logging outfits working steep private ground. The yard is small and the stock turns slowly — typically 20 to 25 machines — but every unit is rebuilt in-house before sale and sold with the rebuild sheet. Northbeam inspected in wet-season conditions to see the workshop under load.

They gave me the rebuild sheet and the parts invoices behind it without me asking. When the boom slew played up in month two they fixed it under their own warranty.

Small yard, straight answers. They told me a machine on their own lot was wrong for my ground and pointed me to a different spec.
